The SCO Deputy Secretary-General Akkoshkarov Nurlan is employed as a visiting professor at SHUPL

     Mr. Akkoshkarov, the SCO Deputy Secretary-General(Chinese name: Luo Guangming), is employed as a visiting professor at SHUPL and received the Letter of Appointment from Prof. Yan.

 

    On the afternoon of May 20, 2014, led by the SCO Deputy Secretary-General Akkoshkarov Nurlan and accompanied by SHUPL Vice President Prof. Yan Li, the Dean of the School of International Affairs and Public Administration Prof. Yuan ShengYu, and the Party Secretary Wang Shoufen, the representatives from the SCO visited the Training Center for the Simulation of the SCO Summit (hereinafter the Training Center) at the School of International Affairs and Public Administration. Their visit is one of the important activities pertaining to the inauguration of the CISCO at SHUPL.

 

    Prof. Yuan expressed warm welcome to Mr. Akkoshkarov and gave a report on the development of the Training Center for him. Then, Prof. Yan decreed the Letter of Appointment to Mr. Akkoshkarov and employed him as a visiting professor at SHUPL.

 

   The SCO Deputy Secretary-General Akkoshkarov appreciated the warm reception at SHUPL. He stated in his speech that the SCO should strengthen the judicial cooperation with China. He also affirmed China’s contributions in the fields of security and defense, economic development, etc.

 

   During the visit, Mr. Akkoshkarov wrote the inscription for the Training Center: To Strive for the Shanghai Spirit. Furthermore, he had an active communication with the students who participated in the simulation of the SCO Summit, and encouraged them to make continuous efforts for qualified diplomats.
